Re-imagining shared services

Like all aspects in business and personal services – Digital and Advanced Analytics are driving new capabilities and business models across the world.

From globalization (choosing where the service gets fulfilled), then lean (reduce wasted effort, enhance consistency of performance and harmonization of services) to now eliminating/ re-imagining demand (Digital and Advanced Analytics) – the world of shared services has come a long way.

In my view, we are at just the beginning of a longer term trend or re-imagination of services – and there is need for people who are not just change agents but service ‘re-imagineers’. This blog aims to develop a view on what skills and behaviors a ‘re-imagineer’ needs to grow/ enhance and what would good look like.
